About Us - Prasad & Shahoma Boudreaux

After 12 fun-filled years of strawbale consulting, building and earthen plastering, our business is shifting into creating unique glasscrete sinks, countertops and other design elements. We particularly enjoy working with people who have similar intersts in appropriate technologies, care for the Earth and healthy, beautiful homes. Creativity is inherent in all of us and we work closely with clients to ensure those personal touches.

Prasad brings 25+ years of building experience and expert craftmanship to us. He is especially skillful in problem-solving creatively. "I love seeing something that is designed "right", with all the qualities of beauty, endurance, playfulness and sustainability." He is somewhat of a mix-master, whether it's clay plasters, lime renderings, custom concrete glasscrete. The study and understanding of these natural materials is intriguing and we examine the appropriate use of each.

Shahoma's forte' is in working easily and joyfully with people, instilling confidence and creativity. At times her ideas are wild and fanciful; she also has an eye for minute detail and color. Teaching earthen plasters, sculpting homes or walls and guiding home-owners and friends in plastering parties nurtures everyone. We now enjoy more time at home in our shop, creating magical pieces, using mostly recycled materials and bedazzling ourselves with the array of endless possibilities with glasscrete.

Continuously working as a couple has strengthened us and promotes our ability to offer a full range of service, attention, creativity and professionalism to our customers. Our artistry is unique, as is yours; creating functional home art. We help put the FUN back in functional!!
